The Heart and History Behind the Harvest

While the Golden Harvest Days is celebrated as one of the largest "working" antique farm heritage events in the Southern United States, its origins are deeply personal. The annual show was launched by Jim and Barbara Esbenshade in memory of their teenage son, Jamie Esbenshade, who passed away suddenly in 1993.

To honor Jamie's memory and share a lifelong passion for agriculture, the Esbenshade family opened up their property—Esbenshade Farms (2174 Hendrix Road, Colbert, OK 74733)—transforming it into a living history museum.

This year visitors are cordially invited to Visit the Massey World Museum In Memory of Jamie Esbenshade. This incredible museum showcases an unparalleled collection of antique equipment, toys, and memorabilia, celebrating the rich global legacy of Massey machinery.

Unlike static museum displays where equipment sits safely behind velvet ropes, Golden Harvest Days is a true "working" show. Across over 100 acres of vintage farm equipment on display, you will witness these magnificent iron titans doing exactly what they were built to do: working the land.
